Official bio
Issy Kleiman, MA, LMFT, is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, therapist, speaker and the founder and Clinical Director of Counseling Services for Wellbeing in Seattle, Washington. She supervises associates and licensed clinicians, helping them build thoughtful, ethical and grounded clinical practice.
Her work with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents is informed by training in the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy and family systems. Issy brings a trauma-informed, affirming and culturally responsive approach to care with LGBTQ+, BIPOC and neurodivergent clients.
She built an integrated therapy and psychiatry practice model where both services sit under one roof, with one intake and one chart. Through speaking, podcasting and consultation, she shares practical perspectives on mental health, relationships and clinical practice with clinicians, teams and organizations.
A shorter 50-word version is available on request, along with the full seven-page press kit.
Verification letters from the Washington State Department of Health and AAMFT are available on request.

04
Ambivalence, identity change after birth, why mixed feelings are normal, and how families can tell ordinary adjustment from something that needs care.

06
How anxiety actually shows up in teens, the cost of waiting lists, school and family collaboration, and everyday guidance for parents.
07
Same-week access, insurance navigation, telehealth across a large state, and what a practice can realistically do about the shortage of clinicians.
